Glenn Neville: Life Post War

During my third year at OU, I met an army veteran and fellow artist, Glen Neville, while studying studio art. I learned of his struggles with PTSD and the lack of empathy other students and some faculty had for his situation. While attending a digital photojournalism course in my fourth and last year at OU, I decided to dedicate my final project to spreading Neville’s story.
The goal of the project was to highlight the various facets of Neville’s life. As a father, husband, veteran, artist, and student, Neville experiences different degrees of PTSD almost constantly. Documenting his story is valuable because it is similar to many veterans who are trying to enter society as functioning people. Once the struggle is understood, it can then be remedied.
